The Civic Trust Awards
The Civic Trust Awards recognise those companies who enhance the local environment through architecture, urban design, landscaping and public art. In 2008 the Awards were held on 12th March at Newcastle Civic Centre. The Awards were established 49 years ago to celebrate architecture and built environment design which are both outstanding, and which brings a real benefit to the local community. The Awards are organised by the Civic Trust, a national charity which champions and campaigns for better places for people.
The Brochure
The Civic Trust Awards brochure is a prestigious publication. With a print run of over 3000, it is distributed at the Awards ceremony on 12th March and then to local authorities, award winning architects, developers and surveyors, heads of professional associations, the media and opinion formers and used as a source of reference for companies who can provide a professional service to the highest standards. Many people involved in winning projects keep copies of the brochure as a lasting record of their achievement. The brochure is also distributed at exhibitions promoting the Awards, held both in London and at a regional venue during the year. As an organisation that has been involved in a successful scheme, we hope that you will take up this unique opportunity to help us promote and celebrate good design by having a presence in the Award winners brochure. By doing this, you will not only be supporting a long running and highly respected awards scheme, but highlighting your commitment to quality design.
