Historic Landscape Assembly 2026

The Gardens Trust’s 2026 Historic Landscape Assemblies will focus on the theme of ‘New Town Landscapes: Learning from the Past, Shaping the Future’. An unmissable opportunity for all those with a stake in historic designed landscapes and their conservation to meet and discuss current issues.

This two-day conference will bring together academics, practitioners, policymakers, and those with direct experience of New Town development to explore how the histories of New Towns can inform their futures. The conference is conceived as both a scholarly forum and a space for professional and intergenerational exchange, encouraging dialogue between research, practice, and lived experience.

Invited delegates will be key personnel from, County Gardens Trusts, the IHBC, Amenity Societies, Building Preservation Trusts, Landscape Practices, National Lottery Heritage Fund, Heritage Open Days, National Trust, Historic Houses, the Arts Society, Garden Museum, Historic England, English Heritage, CPRE, Natural England, local authority planning departments, local authority Historic Environment Records.

The Opportunity

We are delighted to be able to offer the option of a display stand or product literature distribution, or both. This provides a valuable opportunity to promote directly to delegates at this important assembly.

The Conference Day will focus on the theme of ‘New Town Landscapes: Learning from the Past, Shaping the Future’. An unmissable opportunity for all those with a stake in historic designed landscapes and their conservation to meet and discuss current issues.

Literature Distribution

We are anticipating 100 delegates to attend and loose inserts to be placed in the delegate packs are priced at £95 + VAT. Prices quoted are based on each item weighing not more than 25gms. Heavier items can be included but may require an add-on cost.

Booking deadline is 7th August 2026. Approx 110 Inserts will need to be delivered by 4th September.

Stand Space

We also have just 6 stand space slots (2m x 1m) available at £335 which includes literature distribution, a delegate place and lunch.
